Current Serialized Story

Story synopsis: On September 27, 2006, a tractor-trailer truck hauling 42 horses to a meat-packing plant overturned near St. Louis, Missouri. The horses were trapped in the wreckage. Twenty-four horses and one hinny, the offspring of a stallion and a female donkey, survived. They were eventually taken to Longmeadow Rescue Ranch near Union, Missouri, for treatment and loving care.
